Spain

An Andalucian dream in Southern Spain | October 11-18, 2025

Buenas dias is Spanish for “Good morning”

Because a “tinto de verano" doesn't taste as good served outside of Andalucia.

“I left my heart in Sevilla”

No, but literally, this is one of my favorite places on earth. I'm super excited to be working alongside one of my long-time friends & winemaker Pepe Munoz, who was born and raised in Andalucía, and is one of the best guides in the industry.

Enjoy one week of Andalucía, specifically exploring the city of Sevilla, plus some extra time in the countryside and on the Southern Coast of Spain. Your trip includes 7 night's accommodations with daily breakfast, as well as all ground transportation, a full time local guide, and a few extra meals & activities.

Andalucía is a large region of hills, rivers and farmland bordering Spain’s southern coast. It was under Moorish rule from the 8th-15th centuries, a legacy that shows in its architecture, including such landmarks as the Alcázar castle in Sevilla, a place we'll visit on our trip!

About the Week

We’ll kick things off in Sevilla with our local guide for the week, Pepe. A long time friend of mine and native “Sevilliano”, Pepe is the absolute perfect guy for getting to know the region. Having spent his entire life in Sevilla, we’ll have access to some of the most locally-loved and off-the-beaten-path tapas bars & restaurants, so expect to eat well on this trip! Each day we’ll have something to do or visit locally, from the ancient Moorish castles, to Cathedrals, to Roman Ruins - you’ll see it all. About mid-week, we’ll take a road trip towards the coast, stopping along the way at Pepe’s dad’s house, which is a third generation Andalucian bodega, where they’ve been making wine & vinegars for over 100 years. You’ll get to taste everything, learn a thing or two, and feel like family. From there, we’ll travel down to the coast for a couple of nights at a super cute seaside accommodation on the Mediterranean. Enjoy wine-soaked dinners with freshly-caught red tuna, sandy beach walks, and maybe a bit of surfing. We’ll explore the area at a casual pace and there will be plenty of time to take a solo break or rest when you want it. Our last day will a drive back to Sevilla with an overnight stay in a cute hotel, an amazing dinner together, and a toast to the best week of the year!

Daily Movement & Meditation

Wake up the right way - with some energizing vinyasa yoga. Jade will lead you through a strong practice designed to challenge your body & mind and set the tone for an awesome day. Look forward to standing sequences, opportunities to develop deeper backbends and stronger inversions, as well as plenty of groovy transitions to stretch and open parts of the body that need that extra love. Wanna sleep in instead? No shame - you do you!

If you want to practice yoga this week, you will need to bring a yoga mat.

Getting there & other details

Book your international airfare in and out of Sevilla (Seville) Spain. You can also book in and out of Madrid, but this will require a train ride into and out of the Sevilla train station. We will officially start the trip around 4pm on the 11th October. The address of your arrival accommodation will be provided in the arrival email, usually sent out about a month before travel.

Taking a taxi from the airport or train station to the hotel in Sevilla will be the best way to arrive. Prepare to budget roughly 30-40 Euros from the airport. There are ATM machines in the arrivals hall of the airport where you can obtain cash, but most taxis can also take a major credit card.

Once you're at the accommodation, your ground transportation will be covered until departure day.

Spain Q&A

Is this a "yoga retreat"?

It is if you want it to be. I'm a yoga teacher, and I'll offer daily classes during the week, all of which are absolutely optional. My classes are designed to accommodate all levels of yoga practice, so whether you're brand new to yoga, "yoga-curious", or a daily practitioner, you'll be able to attend and hopefully enjoy class. If you do plan to do any yoga on the trip, you will need to bring your own yoga mat.

What are the accommodations like?

In Sevilla, we’ll be in boutique hotels. Depending on what you book, you’ll either be sharing a room & bathroom with one other person, or you’ll have your own room. I always choose small, locally-owned non-chain hotels in the center of the city (old Sevilla) so we can access pretty much everything we need to see on foot. This also gives you the ease of being able to move around on your own during free time without worrying about transportation. On the coast, we stay in an adorable accommodation off the beaten path. While it is not a beachfront property, we will take a trip to a local beach for a full day during our time there. The accommodation is near Conil de la Frontera, located in the countryside and boasts Modern Mediterranean Minimal design - super cozy, great breakfast, and plenty of space for garden yoga & little nooks to cozy up with a book.

Do I need to attend all of the included group activities?

Not at all! I have curated a trip that has a nice balance of free time and group activities. As your travel leader, I've also done a fair amount of working to scope out the area and find experiences that are both culturally connected and fun. If for any reason you decide that you'd like to opt out of a group activity, you are absolutely welcome to take some "me time".

What does a typical day look like on the trip?

If there's yoga, it'll be from 9-10am. Breakfast starts at 10am. You’ll receive both a printed and PDF version of the trip itinerary before the trip starts, so you can know in advance what each day entails. Some of the meals are included due to activities, and the first and last dinners are always included. On nights when dinner isn’t included, I’ll have a restaurant recommendation & reservation for anyone who wants to attend. During free time, you should feel free to do what you want - it’s your vacation!

What is the food like?

Spanish breakfast is usually a combination of coffee, juice, and toast with fresh grated tomato spread & cheese, or jam. You’ll also find cured ham alongside fresh fruit and granola with yogurt. Our meals in Sevilla will mostly be Tapas - small portions - of pretty much everything local to the region. Expect to see a lot of artisanal cheeses, cured meats, slow cooked stews & veggies like eggplant, zucchini, and carrots. While vegetarian meals can be found here, I don’t recommend this particular experience for strict vegans or gluten free folks.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, and probably every day. We are exploring Spanish wine country.

Is the water safe to drink?

Yes, you can drink water from the tap and bottled water is easy and cheap if you want it.

Will there be wifi?

Yes, wifi is available at all accommodations.

Are there any rules?

There is only one rule: have a great vacation. Take rest & "alone time" when you need it. Enjoy getting to know some new & interesting people. Enjoy yourself!
